GROSHART TO WRITE A BOOK
Pam Groshart will be in Worland July 29 - August 2. She would like to talk with people about Nursing and Medicine in the rural Big Horn Basin area during the latter half of the 20th century (1950 - 2000). She is especially interested to speak with folks who knew her parents, Dr. Gene Groshart and Harriet Groshart. She hopes to set up interview / talk times during those days. If you are available and/or interested, please contact her directly at 1-208-869-0321 or call Jody Wesnitzer (347-2128). Welcome the Bouchards Back to Zion this Sunday!
Alan and Sara Bouchard are Zion’s missionaries to Rift Valley Academy (a missionary kids’ academy in Kenya), where they have served for the past ten years. Alan, Sara and their son, Brian, will be with us this Sunday to greet all of us. Let’s give them a warm welcome!
THE BACKPACK PROGRAM NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Every year the Washakie Ministerial Association heads the Backpack Program in the Worland area for children K-5. In order to be eligible for the program families must qualify for the free and reduced lunch program through the district. This year backpacks will be distributed on August 6 & 7 during school registration.
If you would like to sponsor one or more backpacks at $30.00 each, please make checks payable to the Washakie County Ministerial Association and specify Backpack Program on the memo line. Please bring your donation to the church
office. Thank you for your help in this community wide ministry.
