SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL
Christian education movement was founded in 1780 by Robert Raikes (1735–1811). Raikes set up a school in England to teach working children the elements of Christianity and basic literacy and arithmetic on Sundays. The idea was taken up by other denominations, and by the 19th century Sunday schools were widespread.
Today, Sunday schools continue to teach children about the Christian faith and prepare them for later commitment if they choose to take it. Stories are told and activities take place. Each Sunday, here at Zion, children have the opportunity to build their foundation on Jesus Christ and His teaching. Join us each Sunday starting at 9:15 am for fun, games, lessons, and crafts! Kids, don’t forget to bring your parents too!

THANK YOU!
A huge Thank You to all of the people who donated baked goods and who bought items at Sunday's bake sale. The sale brought in $500 dollars. Every time I have had a bake sale it astounds me how much generosity comes from this Church body. I am very blessed to have all of your support and prayers. I am very thankful of each of you. I pray that the Lord bless you as you have blessed me.
Thank You!!
Mattie
