NEED HELP? Yeah for Vacation! Yes, that’s right... I will be coming home for vacation on June 21- July 8th. I can’t wait to see you all! While I’m home I will be fundraising the remainder of the support needed to finish my time of ministry at the Honor Academy. So, if you have any odd jobs, yard work, or just something that you don’t want to do, I can do it for you. I need to raise about $2,600 for the remainder of this year. My parents and I are keeping a calendar of jobs for the time that I am home. If you want me to work a certain day, just let us know. You can call Joyce at 347-3350 / Me (Mattie) at 431-5760. Thank you all for your support over the last 2 years. I look forward to being home with you! Blessings, Mattie Brill

SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL!
Classes continue all summer
in Sunday School at 9:15 a.m.
DON'T MISS
...the lesson God may want you to hear!
...the fellowship God may wish for you to enjoy!
SUMMER WORSHIP
This is to encourage you to make summer worship a priority. Yes, we can give God praise in our back yards, at the lake, or on the trail. Yes, the “heavens are telling the glory of God.” But God is truly pleased when his people gather for worship, fellowship and prayer.
A great big thank you...
to all those who helped do my job while I was on vacation. It was much appreciated.
Thanks Again,
June
STORY OF ELIJAH
The Sunday School teacher was carefully explaining the story of Elijah the Prophet and the false prophets of Baal. She explained how Elijah built the altar, put wood upon it, cut a steer in pieces, and laid it upon the altar. And then, Elijah commanded the people of God to fill four barrels of water and pour it over the altar. He had them do this four times. "Now, asked the teacher, "Can anyone in the class tell me why the Lord would have Elijah pour water over the steer on the altar?"
A little girl in the back of the room started waving her hand, "I know! I know!" she said, "To make the gravy!"
