THE ZEST PROJECT

  Zion: Expanding, Serving, Teaching

We are expecting work on the church to begin this week.  While we await sections of the new roof to be assembled elsewhere, our bell tower will need to be removed and the new entrance built.  It will be exciting to see these changes and the progress that will unfold in the next few weeks.  With lots more still to be done, continuous weekly donations toward the building project, as well as a special offering to be received on Building Fund Sunday, September 19, will enable us to prepare for the next phase.  Thank you all for your prayers and sacrificial giving

(Amount of money "Already Raised" = $553,203)

Rally Day

 September 12th

  • Combined Sunday School begins at 9:15 am with our Creative Arts team! Anticipate a great program for everyone!

During the Worship Service, the Consistory will be leading the entire service and, wow, have they got some great things planned!

The Church-wide Picnic will include GAMES GALORE, and FOOD, FOOD, FOOD that is Pot-luck style this year!!

The Pot-luck has been organized by last name. Thus, families whose names begin with the following letters are asked to bring:

                               A - H: Side dish.

                               I - P:  Dessert

           Q - Z: Main, or hot dish.\

Please note:  Table service and drinks are provided.

Hot Dishes may be brought to the church to stay warm in the ovens or bring them in crock pots, if possible. Cold dishes may be placed in coolers to stay cold, as well.
